Subject: Battlefield 6 (schema.org VideoGame), the same thing as https://store.steampowered.com/app/2807960/. ## Campaign - [Campaign](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/campaign): Battlefield 6's campaign is a nine-mission single-player story that follows Dagger 13, a US Marine Raider squad, against the private army Pax Armata. It takes about four to six hours, has four difficulties and 30 dog tags, and its rewards carry into multiplayer. - [Campaign Missions](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/campaign-missions): Battlefield 6's campaign has nine missions, from Always Faithful in Georgia to Always Forward in Tajikistan. This page lists each one in order with its place, date, objectives, trophies and rewards, and tips for each. - [Campaign Story and Ending](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/campaign-story-and-ending): Battlefield 6's story follows Dagger 13 from Pax Armata's attack in Georgia in 2027 to the war's end in Tajikistan in 2028, and ends with the reveal that CIA handler Melissa Mills helped create Pax to give NATO a common enemy. This page explains the plot and the ending, with spoilers. - [Dagger 13 and Characters](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/dagger-13-and-characters): Dagger 13 is the US Marine Raider squad of Battlefield 6's campaign: Haz Carter (Assault), Dylan Murphy (Engineer), Simone "Gecko" Espina (Recon) and Cliff Lopez (Support), with CIA operator Lucas Hemlock. This page covers them and the other characters, Mills, Kincaid, Al-Khatib and President Fernandez. - [Pax Armata](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/pax-armata): Pax Armata is the private military company that fights NATO in Battlefield 6, bankrolled by a Coalition of states that left the alliance. It is the enemy of the campaign and one of the two factions in multiplayer, with its own vehicles, soldiers and carriers. ## Classes - [Assault](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/assault): Assault is Battlefield 6's objective class. It carries the Adrenaline Injector, captures and arms objectives faster, uses assault rifles best, and brings ladders, grenade launchers, a Deploy Beacon or a second primary weapon; its training paths are Frontliner and Breacher. - [Classes](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/classes): Battlefield 6 has four classes, Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon, each with a fixed signature gadget, trait and weapon bonus, two training paths and an active ability. In most modes any class can carry any gun; Closed Weapon playlists keep each class to its signature weapon plus carbines, DMRs and shotguns. - [Engineer](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/engineer): Engineer is Battlefield 6's vehicle class. It carries the Repair Tool, takes less explosive damage near friendly vehicles, handles SMGs best, and brings launchers, anti-vehicle mines, the EOD Bot and the Vehicle Supply Crate; its training paths are Anti-Armor and Combat Engineer. - [Recon](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/recon): Recon is Battlefield 6's scout and sniper class. It spots enemies just by aiming at them, carries the Motion Sensor, handles sniper rifles best, and brings the Recon Drone, Laser Designator, Tracer Dart, C4, mines, jammers and the Sniper Decoy; its training paths are Sniper and Spec Ops. - [Support](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/support): Support is Battlefield 6's medic and ammo class. It carries the Supply Bag, can revive any teammate, handles LMGs with no sprint penalty, and brings the Defibrillator, smoke, intercept systems, Deployable Cover and the Portable Mortar; its training paths are Combat Medic and Fire Support. ## Gameplay - [Destruction](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/destruction): Battlefield 6 uses tactical destruction: most walls, light buildings and cover break in pre-scored chunks under explosives, vehicles, sledgehammers or sustained fire, while metal frames and many ground floors stay up. Season 5 added set-piece collapses such as the Vegas Strip dome and sign, the Area 51 control tower and, from Nov 10, 2026, European Casino's tower. - [Movement, Squads and Revives](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/movement-squads-and-revives): Battlefield 6 moves with sprinting, sliding, crouch-sprinting, a landing roll, leaning and weapon mounting, and plays in four-player squads that spawn on each other, spot with a ping wheel and revive with drag-and-revive. Any class can revive a squadmate, Support can revive anyone, and a revive costs no ticket. - [Progression and Unlocks](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/progression-and-unlocks): Battlefield 6 progression runs on Career Rank, which unlocks a functional item at every rank from 2 to 50 and cosmetics after, plus assignments that unlock the last guns, gadgets and training paths, and weapon and vehicle mastery to rank 50. EA has sped it up several times since launch, most in March 2026. ## Guides - [Achievements and Trophies](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/achievements-and-trophies): Battlefield 6 has 42 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox and PC, or 43 trophies with the platinum on PlayStation, plus 11 more for REDSEC; Steam lists all 53 together. Only 9.5% of Steam players have finished the campaign, as of Nov 8, 2026. - [Best Settings and Performance](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/best-settings-and-performance): On consoles, play Battlefield 6 in Balanced mode for a locked 60 fps, or Performance mode only with a 120 Hz VRR display. On PC, Digital Foundry's optimized settings (High or Medium sun shadows, GTAO or SSGI Low, High textures on 8 GB cards) gave an RTX 3070 72% more speed, and a frame cap fixes stutter on weaker CPUs. - [PC Requirements and Anti-Cheat](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/pc-requirements-and-anti-cheat): Battlefield 6 on PC needs at least an Intel Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600, an RTX 2060, RX 5600 XT or Arc A380, 16 GB of RAM and Windows 10, and every tier also needs TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot turned on for EA's kernel-level Javelin anti-cheat. EA lists four tiers, from 1080p at 30 fps to 4K at 240 fps with frame generation. - [Top Tips](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/top-tips): The best Battlefield 6 tips in one place, each in a sentence or two with a link to the page that explains it: play one class well, revive and drag before anything else, hit tanks from behind, mount and zero your weapon, and tune a few settings first. Current as of Season 5, Nov 8, 2026. ## History - [Battlefield Series](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/battlefield-series): Battlefield 6 is the latest of the Battlefield games that began with Battlefield 1942 in 2002, and the first main entry since Battlefield 2042 in 2021. It returns to the four classes and a story campaign after 2042 replaced classes with Specialists and had no campaign. - [Battlefield Studios](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/battlefield-studios): Battlefield 6 was made by Battlefield Studios, Electronic Arts' group of four teams: DICE in Stockholm, Ripple Effect in Los Angeles, Motive in Montreal and Criterion in Guildford. Vince Zampella, who led Battlefield from 2021, died in a car crash on Dec 21, 2025, and EA, now privately owned, cut Battlefield staff in Mar 2026. ## Maps - [Area 51](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/area-51): Area 51 is a Battlefield 6 map at the secret Nevada base, added on Oct 13, 2026 with Season 5 Siege of Vegas. The largest are Tsuru Reef and Railway to Golmud; the smallest is Saints Quarter. - [Mirak Valley](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/mirak-valley): Mirak Valley is the largest of Battlefield 6's launch maps, a war-torn valley in Tajikistan with every type of vehicle, trenches, a river and a construction site whose crane can be brought down. Since Season 5 it is also one of REDSEC's Rapid Royale maps. - [New Sobek City](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/new-sobek-city): New Sobek City is a Battlefield 6 launch map set in a construction yard on the edge of Cairo, with sand dunes, tall unfinished buildings, tanks and attack helicopters. EA is reworking it for Season 5's Frozen Aces phase on Dec 8, 2026. - [Operation Firestorm](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/operation-firestorm): Operation Firestorm is Battlefield 6's remake of the Battlefield 3 oil field map, a launch map since Oct 10, 2025 in the Legacy theater. It is a combined-arms map with tanks, helicopters and jets, five Conquest flags where Battlefield 3 had three, and much more cover than the original. - [Railway to Golmud](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/railway-to-golmud): Railway to Golmud is Battlefield 6's rebuild of Battlefield 4's Golmud Railway, added on May 12, 2026 with Season 3 and moved to Tajikistan. It has seven Conquest points, a capturable train that now drives toward the enemy HQ, every vehicle type and the largest airspace in the game, and it was the most-played new map of 2026. - [Saints Quarter](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/saints-quarter): Saints Quarter is Battlefield 6's smallest map, an infantry-only street fight around a fountain in Gibraltar's Old Town. It runs only the close-quarters modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination and King of the Hill, with 16 players. - [Siege of Cairo](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/siege-of-cairo): Siege of Cairo is a Battlefield 6 launch map set in the streets of central Cairo, where infantry and a small number of tanks fight over five objectives split by a main road. Creators rank it among the best of the launch maps. - [Tsuru Reef](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/tsuru-reef): Tsuru Reef is Battlefield 6's largest map, a fictional Japanese island chain in the Pacific built for Naval Warfare and added on Jul 21, 2026 as the 16th map with Season 4. Six islands with a resort, an air base, a port and a dormant volcano are joined by shallow water and bridges, and two playable carriers were added for Carrier Strike. - [Vegas Strip](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/vegas-strip): Vegas Strip is a Battlefield 6 map set among the casinos and hotels of the Las Vegas Strip, added on Oct 13, 2026 with Season 5 Siege of Vegas. It mixes tank and helicopter fights on the boulevard with infantry fights in hotel lobbies, rooftops and storm drains, around four areas: Olympus, the Crater, Karat Plaza and Art Deco. - [Wake Island](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/wake-island): Wake Island is Battlefield 6's version of the series' oldest map, a horseshoe-shaped Pacific atoll added on Aug 18, 2026 with Season 4's Top Gun phase as the 17th map. It has seven points of interest, a new shipwreck in the lagoon, tunnels and ziplines, boats, jets and offshore carriers. ## Modes - [Breakthrough](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/breakthrough): Breakthrough is Battlefield 6's attack-and-defend mode: attackers with a limited pool of lives must hold every flag of a sector at once to push the front line forward, and defenders with unlimited lives try to drain that pool. It launched at 64 players; since Nov 13, 2025 six maps run it at 48, with no EA statement. - [Conquest](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/conquest): Conquest is Battlefield 6's 64-player flag mode: two teams of 32 capture lettered objectives, and a team loses when its tickets (1,000 by EA's default) run out from deaths without revives and from the other side holding more flags. Holding every flag for a minute wins outright. - [Escalation](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/escalation): Escalation is the one new mode Battlefield 6 launched with: two teams of up to 32 fight over a row of flags, holding more of them fills a meter, each filled meter takes a territory and removes a flag, and EA's rule is that the first team to three territories wins. TheGamer's launch guide says two; EA's three is the rule. - [Game Modes](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/game-modes): Battlefield 6 launched with eight multiplayer modes, four All-Out Warfare modes (Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Escalation) and four smaller infantry modes, and has since added Obliteration, Tactical Obliteration, Strikepoint and a run of limited-time modes. Operation High Roller is next, with Frozen Aces on Dec 8, 2026. - [Obliteration](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/obliteration): Obliteration came back from Battlefield 4 on Jun 9, 2026: up to 64 players race for one neutral bomb and try to plant it on the enemy's M-COM stations, and the first team to destroy all three enemy M-COMs wins. Tactical Obliteration, the renamed Squad Obliteration, followed on Jun 30, 2026 as an 8v8 infantry version where two M-COMs win. - [Portal and Server Browser](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/portal-and-server-browser): Battlefield Portal is Battlefield 6's built-in sandbox for player-made modes, and from Season 5 Phase 2 (staged rollout after Nov 10, 2026) it sits behind a real server browser with Official, Player-Hosted, Verified and Custom servers. Verified servers give full XP; Custom ones give reduced XP. - [Rush](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/rush): Rush is Battlefield 6's 12v12 attack-and-defend mode: attackers with limited lives arm pairs of M-COM stations that explode 30 seconds later, defenders with unlimited lives defuse them, and every destroyed pair moves the fight to the next sector. EA rebuilt every Rush layout after the beta and added Rush to Mirak Valley on Feb 17, 2026. ## Overview - [Battlefield 6](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/): Battlefield 6 is Battlefield Studios' and EA's modern all-out warfare shooter, out since Oct 10, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with 64-player battles, four classes, a short campaign and the free battle royale REDSEC. There is no PS4, Xbox One, Switch 2, Steam Deck or Linux version, and PC players cannot turn crossplay off. - [Predictions](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/predictions): We think Battlefield 6's next remade map is Caspian Border from Battlefield 3, that Season 6 opens in Jan or Feb 2027 built around vehicles and the delayed B-81 Cavalry, and that EA supports the game through 2027 instead of announcing a successor. - [Price and Editions](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/price-and-editions): Battlefield 6 costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Game of the Year Edition on Steam in the US as of Nov 8, 2026, and it is included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass since Oct 13, 2026. This page covers its places, where to land, its vehicles, the ring and how it changed by season. - [Gauntlet](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/gauntlet): Gauntlet was REDSEC's squad knockout mode, in which eight squads of four played four short missions and the lowest scorers were cut after each, from Oct 28, 2025 until it left the playlists on Oct 13, 2026. As of Season 5 (Nov 8, 2026) it offers Battle Royale on Fort Lyndon, Ranked, Casual and Rapid Royale, and shares its progression and battle pass with Battlefield 6. ## Seasons - [Battle Pass and Battlefield Pro](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/battle-pass-and-battlefield-pro): Each Battlefield 6 season has one battle pass of 100+ tiers shared with REDSEC, with weapons on the free track; the premium pass costs 1,100 Battlefield Coins (about $9.99) and Battlefield Pro, the top tier with 25 tier skips, $24.99, as EA has priced them since Season 1. - [Roadmap and Season 6](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/roadmap-and-season-6): As of Nov 8, 2026, EA has said Season 6 is planned, with jet weapon customization, and that a 2027 roadmap comes early in the new year; Platoons and the B-81 Cavalry were delayed to 2027 on Nov 6, Ranked multiplayer and Strikepoint have no date, and Commander Mode and a PC crossplay toggle are not planned. - [Season 1](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/season-1): Season 1 ran from Oct 28, 2025 to Feb 17, 2026, the longest season so far after a four-week extension. Update 2.1.1.0 made all three much harder to kill with light rockets. - [Jets](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/jets): Battlefield 6 has four jets as of Season 5 (Nov 8, 2026): the single-seat Attack Jet and Fighter Jet from launch, and the two-seat F/A-81F and F-74A Seacat added with Top Gun on Aug 18, 2026. Jet weapon customization for the launch jets is planned for Season 6. - [Naval Warfare and Boats](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/naval-warfare-and-boats): Naval Warfare came to Battlefield 6 with Season 4 on Jul 21, 2026, bringing the 7.7m NSW RHIB and the RCB-90 armored patrol boat, waves, swimming combat and the island map Tsuru Reef; aircraft carriers followed on Aug 18, 2026 with Wake Island and Top Gun: Carrier Strike. - [Tanks and Ground Vehicles](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/tanks-and-ground-vehicles): Battlefield 6's ground vehicles as of Season 5 (Nov 8, 2026) are the Main Battle Tank, the Infantry Fighting Vehicle, the Mobile Anti-Air, the Armored Transport, the Light Ground Transport, the quad bike, the dirt bike and the golf cart, with the M142 MRAS artillery truck due on Nov 10, 2026. Which ones you get depends on the map and the mode. ## Weapons - [Assault Rifles and Carbines](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/assault-rifles-and-carbines): Battlefield 6 has 12 assault rifles, the Assault class's signature weapon, and 9 carbines that every class can use, as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5); the NSW4 makes 10 carbines on Nov 10. The newest rifle is the Mk 24, and the M16A4 was the most deployed gun of Season 3. - [Attachments](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/attachments): Every Battlefield 6 gun takes attachments in up to nine slots, paid for from a budget of attachment points that tops out at 100, so a build trades one strong part for several cheap ones. Attachments unlock with the gun's Hardware rank, about 50% faster since mid-2026, and every season has added a few. - [Best Loadouts](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/best-loadouts): The strongest Battlefield 6 loadouts in Season 5, as creators rated them in Oct 2026, are the KORD 6P67 or B36A4 for Assault, the SCW-10 or CZ3A1 for Engineer, the DRS-IAR for Support and the new ELR-40 with single-shot ammo for Recon. The new ELR-40 with single-shot ammo is the sniper creators rate highest in Oct 2026, and EA has promised a bolt-action and counter-sniping review for 2027. - [LMGs](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/lmgs): Battlefield 6 has 11 light machine guns as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5), the Support class's signature weapon, with the newest, the belt-fed Z84M, added on Oct 13, 2026. Creators in Oct 2026 still rate the launch DRS-IAR the best all-rounder and split on whether the Z84M is a close-range monster or a gimmick. - [Shotguns and Pistols](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/shotguns-and-pistols): Battlefield 6 has 4 shotguns, open to every class, and 7 secondaries (five pistols and two revolvers) as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5). The default M87A1 is the shotgun creators rate best, with #00 Buckshot, and the two revolvers, the M357 Trait and M44, are their favorite sidearms. - [SMGs](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/smgs): Battlefield 6 has 11 submachine guns as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5), counting the new RSPR, which EA calls a PDW. They are the Engineer's signature weapon and fire faster than any other primary; in late Oct 2026 creators rated the SCW-10 and CZ3A1 the strongest, and EA is adding handling penalties to the SCW-10 and KV9 extended magazines on Nov 10. - [Weapons](https://battlefield6.vi.ki/weapons): Battlefield 6 has 67 guns in eight categories as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5), up from 45 at launch, and the NSW4 Carbine makes it 68 on Nov 10, 2026. EA's own list shows one fewer because it leaves out the RPKM, which is still in the game. Every gun is listed here with the season it arrived.
