Best Loadouts
The strongest Battlefield 6 loadouts in Season 5, as creators rated them in Oct 2026, are the KORD 6P67 or B36A4 for Assault, the SCW-10 or CZ3A1 for Engineer, the DRS-IAR for Support and the new ELR-40 with single-shot ammo for Recon. Every pick here is credited and dated, and the SCW-10's extended magazine changes on Nov 10, 2026.
The best Battlefield 6 loadouts in Season 5, by the creators who tested every gun after the Oct 13, 2026 update, are built on a short list: the KORD 6P67, B36A4 or NVO-228E for Assault, the SCW-10 or CZ3A1 for Engineer, the DRS-IAR for Support and the new ELR-40 for Recon. That list comes from two videos, WhosImmortal's ten Season 5 loadouts (Oct 15, 2026) and Maxiq's tier rundown of every weapon (Oct 25, 2026), and none of it is EA's ranking: EA publishes no pick rates. It can change on Nov 10, 2026, when EA penalizes the SCW-10 and KV9 extended magazines and buffs underused attachments. Each gun's category page has its details: Assault Rifles and Carbines, SMGs, LMGs, DMRs and Sniper Rifles, Shotguns and Pistols; how points and slots work is on Attachments.

We think the table's lesson is that the launch guns still run the game: of the 22 guns added since launch, only the CZ3A1, Z84M, RSPR, Mk 24 and ELR-40 appear among the picks, and the DRS-IAR, SG 553R and M87A1 have been rated near the top since late 2025.
Assault
WhosImmortal's first Season 5 build is the KORD 6P67, "a run and gun heavy rifle" that he says "absolutely melts" at close to mid range: a 2x sight (or the ROM 1.75x), the violet laser, a flash hider for control (he values its recoil help over a suppressor's stealth), the cryo barrel, a slim angled grip and the basic 30-round magazine with standard ammo.
For an easier rifle he takes the B36A4, which he says has "a great TTK pretty much at every single range": ROM 1.75x, violet laser, Hybrid Suppressor L, cryo barrel, an alloy vertical grip and a basic 30-round magazine. Maxiq agrees from the other end, calling the B36A4 "the ultimate starter weapon", a jack of all trades for every map and mode.
The new Mk 24 is "a bit of a hit or miss" for WhosImmortal: tap fire at range is a must, but it stays on target in close and mid fights. His build at weapon level 24: a 1.25x optic, violet laser, the lightened suppressor, extended barrel, slim angled grip, the 20-round fast magazine and lightweight ammunition, exactly 100 points.
Dexerto's class build from Oct 2025, made before any of these guns were patched, paired the NVO-228E with an M87A1 shotgun through the Extra Primary Weapon gadget, a P18 and the High Explosive Launcher (Dexerto). Gadgets and training paths are on Assault.
Engineer
The Engineer's close-range pick is the SCW-10. WhosImmortal runs it with a 1x optic, violet laser, flash hider, extended barrel, alloy vertical grip and the basic 20-round magazine, skipping the 25-round one as poor value at 45 points. Maxiq calls the SCW-10 and the CZ3A1 the two "absolute meta" SMGs. On Nov 10, 2026 the SCW-10's extended magazine gets handling penalties, which leaves this 20-round build untouched.
For a gentler SMG, WhosImmortal's SGX build (iron sights, violet laser, CQB suppressor, extended barrel, ribbed vertical, 30-round fast magazine) is detailed on SMGs, with his CZ3A1 and RSPR builds. Gadgets are on Engineer.
Support
The Support build both Season 5 creators back is the DRS-IAR, which WhosImmortal calls "a low recoil, just an outright lethal option": ROM 1.75x, violet laser, Hybrid Suppressor L, heavy extended barrel, slim angled grip, the basic 30-round magazine and lightweight ammo, for mid to long range. For close quarters Maxiq prefers the new Z84M, which WhosImmortal finds too weak at range; the debate is on LMGs. Gadgets are on Support.
Recon
Both creators reach for the new ELR-40 with its single-shot ammunition. WhosImmortal shows it doing about 90 to the chest and still killing with one headshot, at the price of a long wait between shots; his build is the default 8x scope, violet laser, CQB suppressor (to stay hidden without the long suppressor's sway), extended barrel for velocity and a full angled grip. Maxiq calls it "the best sniper currently for multiplayer" with single shot, a one-shot chest kill between about 30 and 75 meters. Range bands for the other snipers are on DMRs and Sniper Rifles; the class is on Recon.
Sidearms and the extra slot
For a sidearm Maxiq would "always stick to the revolvers": the M357 Trait is his best secondary for its fire rate and two-shot kills up close, and the M44 for its long one-shot headshot range. The P18 he calls a comfortable default. Pistols and shotguns are compared on Shotguns and Pistols.
What every build shares
Across the builds a few attachments repeat. zen3D, in his Season 5 attachment guide, says his most used part is the violet or 20-point blue laser, and he refuses muzzles that "live ping" you to enemies while firing, calling 3D spotting "the single worst attachment penalty in the game"; his usual muzzles are the flash compensator, long suppressor and Hybrid L. WhosImmortal puts the violet laser on every build for aimed accuracy while strafing.
Neither creator needs a maxed gun: WhosImmortal says the "vast majority of the go-to attachments" unlock by weapon level 20 to 30, so these builds work early. Unlock speeds are on Attachments.
We think the most useful habit is to copy the shape, not the parts: one sight you like, the violet laser, a muzzle that keeps you off the minimap if you play objectives, the barrel for your range, and lightweight ammo with the points left. We also expect the Nov 10 attachment buffs to make the Flared Magwell and Frangible Ammo appear in these lists by the end of November.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best loadout in Battlefield 6 right now?
As of Nov 8, 2026, the creators cited here favor the DRS-IAR for Support, the SCW-10 or CZ3A1 for Engineer, the KORD 6P67 or B36A4 for Assault and the ELR-40 for Recon. EA publishes no official meta.
What is the best class for beginners?
The builds here that need the fewest unlocks are the B36A4 for Assault and the SGX for Engineer, both called easy to use by the creators cited.
Do I need to max a gun for these builds?
No. WhosImmortal (Oct 15, 2026) says most of the attachments he uses unlock between weapon levels 20 and 30.
Will the meta change on Nov 10, 2026?
Some of it: EA is penalizing the SCW-10 and KV9 extended magazines, buffing underused attachments and adding magazine options to some LMGs and shotguns. This page will follow the new picks.

-
SMGsBattlefield 6 has 11 submachine guns as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5), counting the new RSPR, which EA calls a PDW. They are the Engineer's signature weapon and fire faster than any other primary; in late Oct 2026 creators rated the SCW-10 and CZ3A1 the strongest, and EA is adding handling penalties to the SCW-10 and KV9 extended magazines on Nov 10.
-
LMGsBattlefield 6 has 11 light machine guns as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5), the Support class's signature weapon, with the newest, the belt-fed Z84M, added on Oct 13, 2026. Creators in Oct 2026 still rate the launch DRS-IAR the best all-rounder and split on whether the Z84M is a close-range monster or a gimmick.
-
DMRs and Sniper RiflesBattlefield 6 has 6 DMRs, open to every class, and 7 sniper rifles, the Recon's signature weapon, as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5). The new ELR-40 with single-shot ammo is the sniper creators rate highest in Oct 2026, and EA has promised a bolt-action and counter-sniping review for 2027.
-
Shotguns and PistolsBattlefield 6 has 4 shotguns, open to every class, and 7 secondaries (five pistols and two revolvers) as of Nov 8, 2026 (Season 5). The default M87A1 is the shotgun creators rate best, with #00 Buckshot, and the two revolvers, the M357 Trait and M44, are their favorite sidearms.

AttachmentsEvery Battlefield 6 gun takes attachments in up to nine slots, paid for from a budget of attachment points that tops out at 100, so a build trades one strong part for several cheap ones. Attachments unlock with the gun's Hardware rank, about 50% faster since mid-2026, and every season has added a few.
