Vegas Strip

Vegas Strip is a Battlefield 6 map set among the casinos and hotels of the Las Vegas Strip, added on Oct 13, 2026 with Season 5 Siege of Vegas. It mixes tank and helicopter fights on the boulevard with infantry fights in hotel lobbies, rooftops and storm drains, around four areas: Olympus, the Crater, Karat Plaza and Art Deco.

Vegas Strip is Battlefield 6's Las Vegas map: a dense urban battlefield of casinos, hotels and landmarks, with routes through hotel lobbies, storm drains under the boulevard and upper-floor rooms, added on Oct 13, 2026 as one of the two launch maps of Season 5, Siege of Vegas. EA's notes promise large-scale vehicle combat, casinos and rooftop ziplines, and it supports every combat size with land vehicles and helicopters. jackfrags, at EA's preview, found a five-flag Conquest map with "a lot of detail" and a hotel with a hole "like Godzilla just walked through it". Season 5 is the current season as of Nov 8, 2026.

Where it is and how it is laid out

"Las Vegas wasn't built for a war, but it's right in the middle of one," EA's developer map guide (Oct 9, 2026) begins. The team's aim was "an all-out warfare experience in an iconic urban setting", and each casino lot has its own character and rhythm. Balancing infantry and vehicles was the hardest part: the team added alternate routes, interiors and cover for infantry, and gave every high position a clear counter.

The landmarks are recognizable without their real names. jackfrags took one hotel with a fountain show for the Bellagio, spotted a giant wheel behind the Strip, and flew a helicopter through the hole blown in a hotel tower. Rooftops, he found, are mostly off limits, so you cannot camp the tallest towers.

The four areas

Area What EA says
Olympus Infantry-focused and vertical; in through the valet area or staff entrances, or ride a zipline to the roof and drop through the collapsed dome. EA's heading calls it Olympus Pools, its text the Olympus Lobby
Crater and Storm Drains A huge crater ringed by a destroyed Pax Armata convoy; infantry and vehicles fight over the open streets above, while tight tunnels below give a safer middle route
Karat Plaza A large square with fountains and plants, with a destructible casino sign in the center that "can dramatically change how the area plays" once it falls
Art Deco A hotel whose interior collapsed into rubble; tanks press from outside while infantry fight within

What creators found

The A objective in jackfrags' match sits by a huge pool deck and spa rooms near Olympus, which gave him "Hardline vibes in a good way", with enemies fighting above him while it burned.

C is "a big hole in the ground", the crater. Under it run the storm drains, which reminded jackfrags of the real people who live in tunnels under Las Vegas; he said the area feels a bit like Battlefield 4's Dawnbreaker.

Near E you can run through a hotel that has been blown out, room by room, looking over the fountain area. A statue of a Greek god there loses its head to gunfire, though it shrugged off his rockets, and part of the roof above E can be destroyed.

Little jokes are hidden in the art: the Double Dip donut shop from Battlefield Hardline and golf carts on the Strip. jackfrags also found a bridge over the boulevard already destroyed.

Vehicles

Tanks and other ground vehicles hold the open streets, especially around Art Deco, and helicopters use the skyline to come in from unexpected angles. EA advises using vehicles to move between objectives so you are not caught in the open (Tanks and Ground Vehicles, Helicopters). jackfrags met an attack helicopter and armored vehicles in his first minute. The same update raised mobile AA damage against helicopters from 26 to 45 per hit and made light rockets need 7 hits to down a scout helicopter instead of 4, so the air over the Strip is more dangerous than in earlier seasons (Vehicles).

Destruction and set pieces

The Olympus dome has already caved in, the crater was blown out of the boulevard, and the Pax Armata convoy lies burnt out around it. The Karat Plaza sign comes down, and Art Deco is heavily damaged before the round starts (Destruction).

Tips for each side

From EA's guide:

  • Recon: share intel on the contested areas (Recon).
  • Helicopters: attack from unexpected angles between the towers.
  • Infantry: use cover, alternate routes and squad support instead of charging down the Strip.
  • Take the rooftops and upper floors before you push an objective.
  • The Pax Armata wreckage is cover in the middle of the map.
  • Ride a vehicle between objectives rather than crossing the boulevard on foot.

Reception and Season 5

Kotaku's one-year review called the Las Vegas map a big hit with most fans, with "uniquely themed" experiences (Oct 23, 2026). In EA's Oct 21, 2026 community update, the team called it "a super iconic location with varied architecture" and said balancing its indoor and outdoor spaces against the "wide-open road structure" was a challenge; one community member named it as a map that might need reworking, and EA has announced no Vegas rework. Season 5 adds a second Las Vegas map, the nighttime, infantry-only European Casino, on Nov 10, 2026; see Season 5 and Maps.

What we think

We think Vegas Strip is Battlefield 6's best answer to the "urban map" problem. The launch city maps squeezed vehicles into streets; this one gives them a wide boulevard and puts infantry indoors and underground, so the two rarely have to share the same lane. We expect the casino sign and the Olympus dome to become the map's image the way the tower is Siege of Cairo's, and we predict the Strip will be the most-played map of Season 5.
